Davis Carpenter, occupation tavern keeper, was born 7 February 1759, in Woodstock, CT, child of Jesse, married Miriam Manning, served in the American Revolutionary War: Captain, died 22 August 1824, in Walpole, New Hampshire, and was buried in Carpenter Hill Cemetery in Walpole.
